[after this]

The dull throb in her head reminded her sharply of the time when she snuck a glass of Alderaanian Ale at a diplomatic function when she had been five years old. The potency of the alcoholic beverage was enough to give her a minor hang-over symptoms the nxt day, and she had vowed never to get drunk ever again. Her adoptive parents had chided her gently at the time, stating that it was fortunate the lesson had been learned under such safe circumstances. She agreed. This memory led to another, which led to another until, finally, a lighting quick rehash of her battle with Obi-Wan had her unsticking her eyes and putting a hand to her temple. She groaned and buried her head against the soft, warm shoulder of her companion as the light pierced her eyes.

Companion? What?

And then she was sitting bolt upright, staring down at the sleeping Obi-Wan. Braeden. Whoever. She closed her eyes and rubed them, as the now-foggy images of how ever many hours ago played over each synapse. She reached out to the Force tentatively, afraid of what she might find, disgusted at her relief when she found it as it should be: safe and shimmering and tinted with darkness. Her probing cause Obi-Wan to awaken, and she stared down at him, frowning as he smiled up at her.

"Good morning."

"Shut it, Kenobi," she said gruffly, hiding safely behind her irritation with the man. What the hell had he done to her?

"Listen, I know you might be upset," he started, sitting up. "But really, it's oka-"

"It's not okay, Kenobi. Nothing is okay! What the kriff gave you the idea that you had any right...?" she trailed off, her anger flairing. He reached up to push a strand of hair behind her ear, but she pushed his hand away before it could touch her. "Don't, Obi-Wan, or Braeden. Whoever the hell you are."

"Obi-Wan. Always Obi-Wan. Unless I need to be Braeden."

The look she gave him suggested all sorts of colourful insinuations of what she thought of his mental state. He winced.

"Listen, Leia. I know it's hard to understand, but what happened needed to happen, or something terrible would have occured. To me first and foremost and then to everyone else. I wish it hadn't happened here, in this place, but-"

"STOP IT!" She yelled, putting her hands over her ears. "STOP SAYING THAT IT WAS ALL OKAY! DOING THAT TO SOMEONE IS NEVER OKAY!"

He tried to get a hold of her hands as she thrashed and tried to get away from him. Leia managed to stand and take several steps towards the door inside, but Obi-Wan caught her and spun her around. He held her tightly to him, letting her pound his chst and rage against him.

"Yes," he whispered against her hair. "Let it out, child. Let it consume you, but do not let it dominate you....yes. Exactly like that. Use it, respect it..."

Leia finally stopped pummeling him and just stood there, letting him sooth her. Then, without warning, she pushed him away savagely and stormed off. She was vaguely aware of his bemused smile as she disappeared into the cool interior of the bar. She stopped in the doorway and shuddered. Then she stalked to her room to shower and change, before coming back down to procure a blanket, food and drink from Bar before finding a dark corner to hole up in.

[which is where we find her several days later...]

I must say, that was written very well though I do know that it was written not as a fiction, but merely an interlude to an RP. *bows* Forgive me, where are my manners? It is very nice to meet you...? *wonders why she looks slightly familiar* *doesn't introduce self purposely*
