Leia stalked the Vengeance's bridge, glaring at any of the crew foolish enough to look at her.
"Find that ship, Admiral! My displeasure you can survive; the displeasure of the Emperor, on the other hand..." she left the comment hanging.
Admiral Korne blanched and began yelling instructions at the bridge crew. Slightly mollified as the Star Destroyer moved into hyperspace, Leia decided to stand menacingly at the view port instead, hands clasped behind her back. As they dropped out of hyperspace, a tiny speck on the edge of visibility could be seen.
"Madam," Korne said carefully. "Sensors indicate that that ship is the one we seek."
"Good. Bring it in." With that, Leia turned on a heel and strode from the bridge, heading for the hanger bay.
As she went, she felt the faint shudder of the tractor beam as it locked on to its target. She smiled. Her brother would be at her mercy very, very soon...

When Revan gets bored, she has a tendency to play with space-time. This shouldn't be technically possible, but space-time is space-time, and having a few
plot devicestemporal anomalies to play with does - if you'll pardon the pun - help time pass a little faster. This particular route is not one Revan has taken before. And it would, it must be said, be a little easier if she had the Ebon Hawk with her. But she does not. Battle damage must be repaired, and whilst it is, she must make do with other ships. Once out on the other side, she races through space for a bit, trying to work out where - and when - she is.
Which is when the tractor beam hits. Revan does not like to be on the receiving end of tractor beams. On the contrary, she prefers to be the one reeling people in.
Whoever is doing the reeling right now is going to regret it. Big-time.
And with that in mind, Revan settles by the main hatch, to wait...

Date: 2006-06-20 12:39 am (UTC)"Oh, bother," she mutters as the hanger bay doors clang shut. She hits the nearest wall-mounted comm. unit. "Admiral, you capture the WRONG ship! Please send the officer who gave you these coordinates and verified the identity of this ship to the brig. I will deal with him shortly."
And, with that, she approches the ship, hands on her hips and pouting.

Date: 2006-06-20 12:44 am (UTC)Darth Revan believes in making a good impression. She believes that newcomers should be left in no doubt as to what to expect. Honesty is such a wonderful weapon.
This would be why she opens the hatch with the Force and full-on stalks out of the ship, lightsaber hilt held ready. Whoever was impudent enough to try interrupting her little jaunt through space is going to get it.

Date: 2006-06-20 12:52 am (UTC)She tries to look around the woman, expecting her brother or Kenobi to be waiting in the shadows for this diversion to run its course. But when she reaches out and feels only the Dark Side, she turns her full attention back to the vortex of dark energy before her.
She frowns.

Date: 2006-06-20 12:56 am (UTC)She's holding her lightsaber hilt slightly to the side now, ready to activate it if attacked. But she does not yet have reason to make the first move, and is intrigued just enough that she doesn't want to simply start killing.
Yet.

Date: 2006-06-20 01:03 am (UTC)Her stance becomes stand-offish, though and she crosses her arms over her chest.
"I'm sorry, but you don't look anything like Emperor Palpatine. More attractive, maybe, but no. You are not him."

Date: 2006-06-20 01:14 am (UTC)She does not feel the need to look any more stand-offish, but anyone adept enough with the Force will be able to detect her rising mental state, which just passed 'pissed off' and is climbing steadily higher.
Also, that 'more attractive' remark? Revan wonders idly if this young woman is hitting on her. Let's hope not.
"Perhaps I should make this a little simpler. Who in all the hells are you, and what possibly possessed you to interfere with my flightplan?"

Date: 2006-06-20 01:22 am (UTC)Yes, she might come off as a spoiled little child who is throwing a temper tantrum.
"And, dammit, I asked you first!"

Date: 2006-06-20 01:28 am (UTC)"Then allow me to enlighten you. I am Darth Revan, Dark Lady of the Sith. And you, impudent child, are annoying me."
At which point - and without any warning - Revan flicks out her saber-less hand, firing a wide, heavy burst of Force Lightning right at the woman in front of her.

Date: 2006-06-20 01:44 am (UTC)Which should make Revan even more upset. The mun knows how Revan likes the screaming.
But no, Leia's Master has given her her fair share of the stuff, so she knows how to handle it.

Date: 2006-06-20 01:57 am (UTC)Yes. Revan does like the screaming. And the pleading. And the desperate last moments before they realise it's all over.
Well. That means a little creativity might be called for. If nothing else, it will make matters more interesting.
Slowly, she paces slightly closer, watching the other woman with nigh-on hawkish intent. "So," she says, "you know a thing or two about Force Lightning. Do you like it? The way it courses through your blood, singing bright hatred to your soul..."
Oh look. She's gone poetic. Now. That isn't good!

Date: 2006-06-20 04:23 pm (UTC)She can almost hear his voice in her mind - such a vile and hated thing in and of itself. The evil cackle as he congratulates her on her feelings, goading her on to sink further into her fury and use the power it grants.
Her eyes squeeze shut and she turns her face away from Revan. Leia really hates the Emperor.

Date: 2006-06-20 10:16 pm (UTC)Revan smirks, though the expression is devoid of any genuine amusement. "Go ahead," she says, softly. "Do it. Draw your weapon. Draw it and face me."
A good duel would really help right about now. All this pent-up emotion is going straight to Revan's head. And by the Force, she wants more!

Date: 2006-06-22 01:52 am (UTC)Nearly panting with anger, the young girl launchs her attack, almost literally; with a cry, she springs forth from her semi-kneeling position, blade raised a defensive-strike.

Date: 2006-06-23 01:48 am (UTC)With a very nasty grin, Revan spins her own lightsaber hilt, both red blades arcing into existence at once. Immediately drawing on the flood of bright, incredible emotion filling her mind, she leaps at Leia.
And is instantly on the offensive. Of course. Old habits die painfully.

Date: 2006-06-23 04:13 pm (UTC)Her brother was weak and unprepared for her. It was such an easy victory, but sill...he had potential.
This, however...this was strange, not having the upper-hand. Her arm feels the jolt as the blades clash, buring the air around them. She jumps back in an attempt to get her bearings, sweeping her blade to defend against both ends of the other's 'saber.
no subject
Date: 2006-06-23 09:35 pm (UTC)Even so. She keeps her concentration on the battle for the moment, bringing her 'saber blades around in quick succession, intent on making this challenging.
And as she does, Revan mentally reaches out, trying to touch the other woman's mind. She won't be able to go far whilst focusing on the duel, but still. It could prove interesting.

Date: 2006-06-25 11:30 pm (UTC)A good duel always makes her feel... more alive. Though it's been said by far too many people that 'Revan' and 'alive' should not be in the same sentence. Or, galaxy.
"Better," she says, over the roar of the lightsabers - assessing others never being far off her mental radar - "let your hatred fuel you. Let it flood every ounce of your being."
This doesn't mean she's any less interested in causing some serious damage, however.

Date: 2006-06-25 11:37 pm (UTC)The second blade blazes to life in crimson fire, and she twirls the two before falling into a defensive posture.
And then she's leaping back into the battle...
Seems she's picked up more then genetics from her daddy, eh?

Date: 2006-06-26 12:08 am (UTC)With a smirk, Revan moves into a renewed attack, red blades dancing through the air. But as she does, she starts considering other responses - given that simple saber-to-saber combat is not the answer here anymore. This woman is slightly too interesting now to kill outright.
Revan would rather talk to her first. Some would call that a fate worse than death, given how... bloody-minded she can be. In more ways than one.
"You still have not told me your name," she remarks, giving no explanation to this nigh-on non sequitur.

Date: 2006-06-26 12:14 am (UTC)She gives Revan a slight sneer as she speaks, and uses the brief break to flip both handles to hold them as the handle-bars of a speeder. Then she brings her fists together and the light snap of them locking together can be faintly heard.
"Neither have you."

Date: 2006-06-27 10:26 pm (UTC)Now that is an interesting lightsaber. Revan makes a mental note to find out where it came from.
